Sets the overall tone of the maintenance department, including goals, procedures, or systems, and strategy to align with the group objectives.
Conducts Regular Meeting with Facility Maintenance Heads to discuss maintenance KPI's such as Equipment Availability, backlogs, resolution time, and other issues to formulate preventive action
Communicates critical issues to the Group Director that requires higher authority for decision-making
Sets the target and appropriate ratio between planned and unplanned maintenance cost
Strategize for optimal in-house vs contractor ratio
Sets direction in the crafting of contracts whether to leverage on quantity and other factors
Conducts periodic management review with Facility Maintenance Heads and Contract Manager
Controls allocation of department budget
Challenges the cost within LOA
Evaluates and approves maintenance programs and processes for equipment and plant reliability improvement.
Leads in the automation of maintenance processes to improve customer experience

Assess the compliance of reports to CRAG for the reporting of KPI/BEM to MWSS-Regulatory Office.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of a Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics Engineer (though other disciplines considered). ;
Preferably a Master's degree holder in any field of engineering or related field and/or license holder in Engineering field;
Experience leading and managing department-level teams of 10-25 people is required for effective facility maintenance oversight.
Minimum of 5-7 years of maintenance management experience is required for this senior-level position.
Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software
Demonstrated expertise in asset management, KPI analysis, and budget planning is essential for strategic department leadership.
