Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of IT to lead our technology operations and innovation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in IT infrastructure, systems, and digital transformation, with specific experience in the food and beverage industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the company's overall IT strategy aligned with business goals and growth targets.
- Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of IT systems, including POS systems, ERP (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central), inventory management, and supply chain technologies.
- Ensure smooth operation of IT infrastructure including networks, servers, databases, and hardware/software.
- Lead digital transformation efforts to improve customer experience, operational efficiency, and data-driven decision-making.
- Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and contract negotiations.
- Ensure data security, backup, disaster recovery, and compliance with industry regulations.
- Lead and mentor the IT team, fostering a high-performance, collaborative, and solution-oriented environment.
- Provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership on emerging technologies, innovations, and risks relevant to the F&B space.
- Support cross-functional departments such as Finance, Operations, Logistics, and HR with their technical needs.
- Implement and manage reporting systems to track KPIs and IT performance metrics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive IT experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in the Food and Beverage or hospitality industry is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of F&B operations, especially restaurant or retail POS systems, ERP, CRM, inventory, and supply chain systems.
- Experience managing IT in multi-branch or multi-location settings.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex IT projects from concept to completion.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
