The Head of IT will lead the organization's technology strategy and operations, ensuring that IT systems, infrastructure, and security effectively support business objectives. This role combines strategic planning, operational oversight, and team leadership to drive innovation and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
IT Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute the IT roadmap aligned with business objectives.
- Lead IT teams, mentoring managers, and ensuring operational excellence.
- Advise leadership on technology trends, risks, and opportunities.
IT Infrastructure & Operations
- Oversee IT systems, networks, cloud services, and enterprise software.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of IT operations.
- Manage IT vendors, contracts, and service level agreements.
Information Security & Compliance
- Implement and enforce robust cybersecurity policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, GDPR, and other relevant standards.
- Lead risk assessments, audits, and incident response planning.
- Drive continuous improvement of security posture and regulatory readiness.
Digital Transformation & Innovation
- Lead enterprise technology projects from planning to delivery.
- Identify and implement emerging technologies to optimize efficiency and competitiveness.
- Support cross-departmental digital initiatives.
Budget & Resource Management
- Develop and manage IT budgets while optimizing costs.
- Allocate resources effectively to meet strategic and operational priorities.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field; Master's preferred.
- 10+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in senior leadership.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and enterprise software.
- Experience with ISO 27001 compliance, risk management, and information security frameworks.
- Proven strategic planning, project management, and vendor management experience.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
