- Develop and implement comprehensive information security policies and procedures.
- Oversee risk assessments and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents and threats effectively and promptly.
- Lead the evaluation and deployment of security technologies and solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure data protection and system integrity.
- Provide training and awareness programs on cybersecurity for employees.
- Prepare and present reports on security performance and incidents to senior management.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of emerging security trends and threats.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Head of Information Security should have:
- A degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
- Proven expertise in information security management and practices.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks in the financial services industry.
- Experience in implementing cybersecurity strategies and systems.
