HR Manager / Head of HR
Location: Medina, Misamis Oriental
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic HR Leadership
- Partner with plant leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support long-term business goals.
- Integrate co-operative principles with corporate HR systems when managing member-employees or co-operative stakeholders.
2. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Lead workforce planning and recruitment for plant, technical, and corporate functions.
- Manage employer branding to attract qualified professionals
3. Compensation & Benefits
- Design competitive salary grades, annual bonus plans, and benefits packages (including allowances common to large manufacturers).
- Ensure compliance with minimum wage, overtime, statutory benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG), and export plant incentives.
4. Labor Relations & Compliance
- Manage labor relations, dispute resolution, and DOLE compliance.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Philippine labor laws and international best practices.
5. Training & Organizational Development
- Develop leadership programs and specialized training (safety, operational excellence, technical skills).
- Implement succession planning for key roles and career growth pathways.
6. Performance & Change Management
- Oversee performance management systems that support productivity, quality standards, and export readiness.
- Conduct regular appraisals and supporting employee development.
- Drive change management initiatives across departments.
7. HR Systems & Reporting
- Oversee HRIS, payroll systems, and data analytics for HR reporting and strategic decisions.
- Track key HR metrics: turnover, engagement, training ROI, etc.
8. Health & Safety
- Promote compliance with Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standards across manufacturing sites.
- Partner with EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) leads on risk assessments and preventive programs.
9. Corporate Communication and CSR
- Lead corporate communication, employee engagement programs, and CSR initiatives to boost morale and strengthen community ties.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 8–10 years of progressive HR experience.
- Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws, HR compliance, and HR best practices.
- Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., CHRP/CHRM from Philippine HR Certification Board) is a plus.
- Exposure to co-operative management or member-based enterprises is an advantage
- Experience in large agri-manufacturing companies
- Bisaya-speaking a plus
