A global organization is seeking an experienced HR & Admin Head to lead the Human Resources and Administration function for its operations in Pampanga. This leadership role will serve as a strategic business partner to the executive team while overseeing the full spectrum of HR and Administration, ensuring organizational effectiveness, regulatory compliance, employee engagement, and operational excellence.
Industry Preference: Electronics Manufacturing, or Industrial Manufacturing
Key Responsibilities
As the HR & Admin Head, you will be responsible for:
- Leading the overall Human Resources and Administration function in alignment with business objectives.
- Managing the full employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, performance management, succession planning, learning and development, compensation and benefits, employee engagement, and retention.
- Driving workforce planning and organizational development initiatives to support business growth and operational requirements.
- Overseeing employee relations, disciplinary management, grievance handling, and maintaining a positive workplace culture.
- Managing labor relations activities, including experience with unionized environments or union avoidance strategies where applicable.
- Ensuring compliance with Philippine labor laws, statutory requirements, and company policies.
- Developing, implementing, and continuously improving HR and Administration policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Partnering with business leaders to strengthen organizational capability, leadership effectiveness, and workforce productivity.
- Managing HR operations, including timekeeping systems, attendance management, outsourced manpower providers, and HR processes.
- Leading Health, Safety, Employee Welfare, and Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives.
- Representing the organization in dealings with government agencies, local authorities, and external stakeholders.
- Ensuring compliance with business permits, licenses, regulatory requirements, and administrative obligations.
- Driving HR process improvements and organizational initiatives that enhance operational performance and employee experience.
- Building, coaching, and developing a high-performing HR & Administration team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- At least 10 years of progressive Human Resources leadership experience, with significant exposure leading the HR function within a manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience in Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS), Industrial Manufacturing, or other high-volume manufacturing industries is strongly preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of the Philippine Labor Code, labor relations, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and statutory compliance.
- Experience managing both direct and indirect workforce populations in a manufacturing environment.
- Exposure to unionized environments or extensive labor relations experience is highly advantageous.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, coaching, and organizational development capabilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to drive HR transformation, process improvements, and change management initiatives.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion in handling confidential matters.
