Job Description

The Head of HR Strategy and Analytics is responsible for leading the strategic planning, workforce analytics, financial planning, policy management, and executive reporting functions of Human Resources. The role provides data-driven insights that enable informed business decisions, oversees HR budgeting and workforce planning, ensures HR policies remain current and compliant, and drives strategic reporting and predictive workforce analytics. This position serves as the strategic planning and workforce intelligence lead for HR, partnering closely with the Head of HR Digitization, who is responsible for HR systems, technology, automation, and data governance.

What You'll Do

1. HR Strategy and Workforce Analytics

  • Develop and execute the HR strategic plan aligned with the organization's business strategy.
  • Lead workforce analytics to provide actionable insights on workforce trends, productivity, attrition, recruitment, retention, engagement, organizational effectiveness, and workforce demographics.
  • Develop predictive workforce analytics to identify future talent needs, workforce risks, and organizational opportunities.
  • Translate workforce data into strategic recommendations that support business planning and decision-making.
  • Drive a culture of evidence-based decision-making across HR and business leaders.

2. HR Financial Planning and Budget Management

  • Lead the annual HR budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning process.
  • Oversee the overall HR budget, including:
  • Personnel expenses
  • Employee engagement and recognition programs
  • Learning and development
  • Recruitment and employer branding
  • HR operating expenses
  • Monitor budget utilization and recommend cost optimization initiatives.
  • Prepare financial analyses and business cases to support HR investments and strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure sound financial management across all HR functions.

3. Workforce Planning and Organizational Insights

  • Lead enterprise workforce planning and organizational analytics.
  • Monitor workforce capacity, headcount, productivity, vacancy levels, span of control, workforce costs, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Partner with business leaders on workforce planning and organizational design initiatives.
  • Develop workforce forecasting and scenario-planning models to support business growth and transformation.
  • Recommend strategies to improve workforce productivity, efficiency, and resource allocation.

4. HR Policies and Vendor Management

  • Lead the development, review, implementation, and maintenance of HR policies, manuals, and guidelines.
  • Ensure HR policies remain compliant with applicable labor laws, regulatory requirements, and company standards.
  • Establish a structured policy review and approval process.
  • Monitor policy implementation and recommend updates based on business and legislative changes.
  • Oversee the governance and performance of HR vendors and service providers.
  • Manage vendor selection, contract renewals, service level agreements, and vendor performance.
  • Ensure HR vendors deliver quality, value, innovation, and cost efficiency.

5. HR Reporting and Executive Insights

  • Lead the preparation of executive HR dashboards, scorecards, and management reports.
  • Translate HR metrics into meaningful business insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Monitor and report key HR indicators, including:
  • Headcount
  • Attrition
  • Recruitment
  • Productivity
  • Absenteeism
  • Employee movements
  • Personnel costs
  • Diversity metrics
  • Employee engagement
  • Organizational effectiveness
  • Prepare Executive Committee and Board reports on workforce trends, HR performance, strategic initiatives, and financial performance.
  • Identify workforce risks and opportunities through trend analysis and predictive insights.
  • Define HR reporting requirements and collaborate with the Head of HR Digitization to ensure reporting needs are supported by accurate and timely HR data.

6. Strategic Projects and Business Advisory

  • Lead strategic HR initiatives and enterprise-wide workforce projects.
  • Provide workforce and financial insights to support organizational restructuring, business expansion, and transformation initiatives.
  • Develop business cases and impact assessments for major HR investments and initiatives.
  • Advise senior leadership on workforce trends, talent risks, organizational priorities, and people-related business decisions.
  • Represent HR in cross-functional strategic planning initiatives and executive forums.

What You Need To Have

  • Proven leadership experience managing managers of managers
  • Experience translating strategy into field execution playbooks
  • Advanced analytical skills (Excel, dashboards, performance diagnostics)
  • Proven leadership experience in performance management
  • Strong background in sales performance management
  • Experience handling process‑driven sales products
  • Strong coaching background
  • Experience in cash loan products
  • Exposure to large, distributed sales networks
  • Experience working with Risk, Credit, and Product teams
  • Product launch or scale‑up exposure
  • Six Sigma
