Job Description

The Head of HR Operations is responsible for managing and overseeing the human resource day to day operations such as Employee Services, Labor Relations, HR Business Partnering, Occupational Health and Safety as well as Payroll and Benefits Administration.

She acts as an HR Business Partner making sure that human resource policies and procedures throughout the organization fit the needs, goals, and aims of the organization and its leadership.

Operational Excellence

  • Identifies, designs and implements strategic HR programs that are customized and relevant to each of the brands within the group of companies.
  • With the guidance of the Vice President, P&O, plans and strategically executes the Human Resource plans and programs to support the overall goals of the business
  • Works with the business leaders to help guide and communicate the overall company strategy and acts as a strategic advisor on people matters and programs
  • Develops and maintains HR policies and procedures to ensure effective, fair and consistent implementation of such policies across the organization
  • Develops process improvements within HR Operations to firm up a systematic way of doing things
  • Analyzes relevant HR data to enable recommendations to the Business Heads in people management
  • Ensures that the entire HR Operations Group is informed and guided on key business and organizational issues
  • Gate keeps the Employee Discipline and Grievance processes and works closely with the leaders in implementing and executing measures aimed to ensure order in the workplace
  • Ensures compliance to labor laws and applicable government regulations
  • Oversees the payroll process by doing the final audit before submitting for bank upload and approval
  • Designs and implements remuneration and rewards programs
  • Maintains and standardize employee benefits and compensation programs together with the HR Business Partners
  • Establishes and maintains salary scales and pay grades across the group of companies and continuously benchmarks to identify market competitiveness and pay position strategy
  • Ensures legal and sound practices in all Pay and Benefit policies and programs
  • Ensures and oversees all occupational health and safety programs and processes
  • Participates in new projects implementations and functionality uptake; seeing projects through the full lifecycle and perform functions related to requirements gathering, configuration, testing, UAT and post-production support

People Engagement and Development

  • Works closely with the Business Leaders and provides guidance, coaching and support on the full range of HR operations activities and ensures that leaders are able to understand and adhere to processes that enhance employee experience and engagement
  • Leads, equips and develops HCSS Team Members to continuously be effective in implementing HR Operations programs and interventions
  • Promotes and leads a healthy, aggressive, dynamic, and energetic group of HCSS Team Members
  • Upholds and is a gatekeeper of ensuring the different processes and interventions are means to ensure alignment and strengthen the core values
  • Spearheads continuous improvement programs aimed to strengthen an environment of Love and Acceptance across brands and companies
  • Ensures that faith, hope and love are integrated and exemplified in every company activity and gathering across all brands and companies

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Preferably has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Behavioral Science, Organizational Communication or a related field

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 10 years of experience in HR operations, 7 years of which is within a leadership capacity
  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • Thrives in a fast-paced and agile environment
  • Has led HR in companies with at least 500-700 in headcount
  • Has experience in mentoring and coaching
