Job Description
The Medical City South Luzon is looking for an experienced and strategic Head of Finance to lead the organization's financial management and business performance initiatives. This role supports the Group Chief Finance Officer and works closely with business leaders to drive the company's financial strategy, improve business results, and ensure sound financial governance. The Head of Finance oversees financial planning, reporting, budgeting, cash management, compliance, and financial operations while identifying opportunities for process improvement, stronger controls, and operational efficiency.

Who Are We Looking For An ideal Head of Finance should have:
- Strong expertise in financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, performance management, and business partnering.
- Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, taxation, statutory requirements, and corporate governance.
- Proven ability to provide strategic financial insights that support organizational growth, profitability, and operational excellence.
- Demonstrated experience leading finance operations, including accounting, financial reporting, cash management, collections, and working capital optimization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to identify financial risks, opportunities, and improvement initiatives.
- Experience in establishing and maintaining effective internal controls, compliance programs, and risk management frameworks.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing and leading high-performing finance teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with executive leaders, Board members, auditors, banks, regulators, and other key stakeholders.
- Experience driving process improvement, automation, and data-driven decision-making initiatives.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Qualifications
Education:
- Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level in Accountancy, Business Administration, Finance, or other related course.
- A duly licensed Registered Certified Public Accountant (CPA) by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) is preferred.
Work Experience:
- Experience level enables the job holder to provide leadership to others regarding work-related systems, processes, and challenges (more than 15 years).
- Experience in interpreting strategy and policy to set and deliver objectives within medium- to long-term time frames (over 10 years to 15 years).
- Demonstrated experience in financial leadership, strategic planning, business performance management, financial governance, and organizational decision support.
- Healthcare industry experience is highly preferred.
