As a Head of Finance, you will take charge of
- Manage all aspects of financial analysis and business partnering functions for our Philippines businesses.
- Responsible for all analytical and value-added areas for the Philippines, including forecasts, management reporting & analysis, budgeting, treasury and tax filings.
- Work with the finance team to migrate the majority of transactional accounting eg AP, AR, GL, etc to the newly established accounting centre located offshore.
- Manage the preparation and reconciliation of all Balance sheet accounts.
- Main contact person and liaison for all statutory, ISO and internal audits
- Work with the Head Office team to drive process improvements in the finance function through understanding of the existing IT systems and processes and to strengthen internal controls.
- You will report directly to the Regional CFO with a matrix reporting to the country management.
Who we look for – the ideal profile:
- Bachelor Degree holder in Finance or Accounting and/or member of a professional body such as ISCA, ICAEW, ACCA, CPA or equivalent, with at least 6 years relevant work experience in all facets of accounting and finance.
- Possesses good business acumen and strong analytical skills including the ability to rapidly interpret, and concisely explain in a simple non-financial way.
- Prior experience with Netsuite and a track record of automating processes as well as experience in the Retail industry, is a significant plus.
- Strong knowledge of country corporate tax laws and company regulations.
- Possesses exceptional organizational skills, self-motivated and possess the ability to prioritise to get things done.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, start-up and Ecommerce environment.
- Good command of English, both spoken and written.
