Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for the Head of Finance (Fintech + Mobility) at Xylem Ventures. The Head of Finance will oversee financial reporting, manage financial statements, and develop strategic budgets. Responsibilities include analyzing financial data, implementing effective financial models, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The role will play a critical part in supporting the company's growth and driving key decisions through financial insights. Regular collaboration with senior leadership to align financial operations with organizational goals is expected.
Key Responsibilities
Lead financial planning and analysis, including monthly budget vs actuals, revenue forecasting, and cash flow management
Strengthen financial controls, compliance, and audit readiness across the organization
Oversee bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivables, invoicing, payroll, and rider payment reconciliation
Build scalable processes for asset financing, credit line drawdowns, loan amortization tracking, and fleet depreciation
Develop investment cases and financial models to support expansions, fleet growth, EV business, and new product launches
Manage tax filings, BIR compliance, and regulatory requirements for PH and SG entities
Prepare clear management reports and board materials with insights and recommendations
Work with legal on contracts, payment structures, insurance, collection and recovery strategies
Support fundraising activities including due diligence, data room management, investor communication, and valuation analysis
Provide leadership and mentorship to finance, accounting, and cross-functional ops teams
Serve as the financial conscience of the business, ensuring every peso is productive
Qualifications
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is a Must for this profile.
510 years progressive finance experience in high-performance environments
Previous experience in a mobility platform, fintech, lending, or leasing business is an advantage
Strong command over Philippine GAAP, taxation, and local compliance requirements
Exceptional financial modeling capability and comfort with large operational datasets
Strong analytical skills, problem solving, and high attention to detail
Excellent English communication skills, comfortable presenting to senior executives and investors
Tech-savvy with experience building or implementing financial systems and automation
