GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Head of Finance/Accounting is responsible for overseeing the company's financial strategy,
performance, and risk management. They partner with the CEO and executive leadership to drive
sustainable growth, ensure financial integrity, and support long-term business objectives.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Financial Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute the company's financial strategy aligned with corporate goals
- Advise the CEO and Board on financial planning, investments, and business performance
- Lead long-term financial forecasting and capital allocation decisions
Financial Management & Reporting
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual)
- Present financial results to executive leadership and the Board (Business Review GR, NR,
GP, SG&R, NOI, EBITDA &; NIAT)
Accounting, Compliance & Controls
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and legal requirements
- Oversee audits, internal controls, and risk management frameworks
- Maintain strong corporate governance practices
Cash Flow & Capital Management
- Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital
- Oversee financing activities, debt management, and investor relations
- Evaluate mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic investments
Risk Management
- Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Oversee insurance, treasury, and financial risk exposure
Team Leadership
- Lead and develop finance, accounting, and treasury teams
- Build scalable financial systems and processes to support growth
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred)
- 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, corporate finance, and compliance
- Proven strategic thinking and leadership capabilities
