Job Description
- Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of data pipelines and infrastructure.
- Develop and oversee data governance frameworks ensuring accuracy and security.

- Mentor and manage a team of data engineers to achieve high performance.
- Ensure seamless integration of data from multiple sources for analytics purposes.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in data workflows and systems.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables in alignment with organizational objectives.
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Head Of Data Engineering Should Have
- Strong expertise in data engineering, analytics, and architecture.
- Proven leadership experience in managing and developing teams.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and modern data tools.
- The ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- A degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- A proactive approach to solving problems and driving innovation.
Technology Stack
- Python & SQL
- Data Transformation: dbt or a similar framework (e.g., SQLMesh).
- Big Data Processing: Apache Spark, Kafka, or equivalent frameworks.
- Orchestration: Airflow, Prefect, or Dagster.
- Open Table Formats: Strong preference for Delta Lake; experience with Iceberg or Hudi is advantageous
- Cloud Data Architecture: AWS, Azure, or GCP
