OverviewWe are seeking a Head of Content to oversee the quality, timeline, and strategic development of AI-powered animated micro-drama content for our mobile app, focused on prime-time audiences across multiple genres including romance, sci-fi, thriller, and other high-engagement formats.
This role is responsible for managing the full content production pipeline, collaborating with producers, creators, studios, and external content partners, and ensuring all content aligns with platform goals, audience engagement targets, monetization objectives, and release schedules.
The Head of Content will lead and manage a multidisciplinary content department of approximately 14–16 team members, including directors/scriptwriters, AI creators, and video editors, while supervising content delivered by partner studios.
Key Responsibilities- Own the overall content vision and authority for the app's catalog.
- Lead content planning, scheduling, and execution to meet quality and timeline requirements.
- Manage end-to-end production workflows, coordinating writers, artists, AI creators, editors, studios, and creative teams.
- Lead and manage a content department of 14–16 professionals, including directors, scriptwriters, AI creators, and video editors.
- Supervise and approve content produced by internal teams and external production partners to ensure consistency with company standards and objectives.
- Ensure content consistency, genre balance, and strong storytelling standards across the platform.
- Oversee content performance analysis and continuously improve programming based on user engagement, retention, and monetization data.
- Work closely with analytics and product teams to optimize content strategy and audience engagement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with creators, studios, production partners, and content providers.
- Drive ongoing innovation and improvement in content formats, AI-assisted production workflows, production efficiency, and creative output.
- Establish and maintain content quality standards, reviewing and approving content prior to release.
- Produce and commission content according to business priorities and platform needs while ensuring high creative and technical quality.
- Work with the marketing team to provide video marketing materials and promotional assets as needed.
- Contribute to the development of community-building and educational content initiatives supporting the broader AI creator ecosystem and academy.
Required Qualifications- Proven experience as a Producer, Director, Executive Producer, Head of Content, or similar leadership role within film, television, streaming, digital media, or short-form content platforms.
- Strong experience managing creative teams and overseeing large-scale content production operations.
- Demonstrated success leading multidisciplinary teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Deep understanding of AI-driven content production workflows and generative AI technologies.
- Hands-on experience with AI creative tools such as Higgsfield, Kling, Seedance, and related AI video generation platforms.
- Strong knowledge of prompt engineering and AI content creation methodologies.
- Exceptional storytelling, editorial judgment, and content evaluation skills.
- Experience analyzing content performance metrics and translating insights into content improvements.
- Strong project management, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to balance creative excellence with production efficiency, deadlines, and business objectives.
- Experience working with international studios, production vendors, or distributed creative teams is highly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience in short-form video, mobile-first entertainment, streaming platforms, or micro-drama content.
