Work Setup: Onsite

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday | Morning Shift

Job Summary

The Head of Compliance & Governance supports the Chief Compliance Officer in ensuring the organization complies with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and governance standards. This role oversees compliance programs, manages regulatory risks, provides guidance to business leaders, and helps promote a strong compliance culture across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Chief Compliance Officer in overseeing compliance programs, including AML, anti-bribery, fraud, privacy, business conduct, and regulatory compliance
  • Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on the business
  • Ensure timely preparation and submission of regulatory and compliance reports
  • Develop and update compliance policies, procedures, and controls
  • Conduct compliance risk assessments and provide recommendations to management
  • Oversee compliance monitoring and testing activities
  • Deliver compliance training and awareness programs
  • Provide compliance guidance to business units and senior leaders
  • Represent the Compliance function in meetings, committees, and industry engagements when required
  • Manage and develop a team of 4–5 compliance professionals

Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Law, or a related field
  • CPA, Juris Doctor (JD), or LLB preferred
  • At least 7 years of compliance management experience within insurance, asset management, banking, or financial services
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, governance, and risk management
  • Experience managing compliance teams and stakeholders
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with regulators and senior executives

Preferred Qualifications


  • Background in insurance, asset management, banking, or other financial institutions
  • Experience in risk management and financial crime compliance
  • Knowledge of AML, anti-bribery, fraud, privacy, and regulatory compliance programs
