About The Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic
Head of Business Development to lead growth initiatives for our pharmaceutical manufacturing business. This role is ideal for a senior leader with a proven track record in driving partnerships, expanding market presence, and identifying new revenue opportunities within the pharmaceutical sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies aligned with company goals
- Identify and secure new business opportunities, partnerships, and strategic alliances
- Lead negotiations for high-value contracts, licensing deals, and collaborations
- Expand market presence across domestic and international markets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, distributors, and partners
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and growth opportunities
- Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, manufacturing, regulatory, and commercial teams
- Lead, mentor, and grow the business development team
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in business development within pharmaceutical companies or pharma-related industries
- Proven success in deal-making, partnerships, and revenue growth
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing, regulatory environments, and market dynamics
- Experience working in senior leadership roles (Director, AVP, SVP, or equivalent)
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
