The Role
We are hiring a Head of Business Development to lead commercial growth in one of APAC's fastest-growing digital markets - The Philippines.
You will own the PH revenue number across our three offerings - build the pipeline, close the largest deals personally, and grow a highly-specialized, high-performing commercial team alongside you. You'll work directly with the CEO and translate our positioning into named-account wins.
This is a hands-on commercial leadership role. You will sell. You will hire. You will run the rhythm. You will be the most senior commercial voice in-market.
You're a strong fit if you have...
· 8–12 years in advertising, marketing, media, communications, or marketing/adtech SaaS at a holding company, big tech, indie agency, comms/PR network, advertising technology or marketing technology company
· A track record of carrying and hitting commercial targets at senior account director, commercial director, or senior sales lead level
· Personally closed complex enterprise deals combining services, retainers, technology, or platform components - six- and seven-figure (PHP) sales cycles
· Managed a high-performance commercial team - hired, coached, set quotas, and held people to forecast accuracy
· A current, named-account network across PH brand-side senior marketing, growth, and procurement
· Working fluency in digital marketing, adtech and martech — programmatic, paid media platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok, DV360, retail media), CDPs, attribution, and the broader marketing stack
· Commercial discipline, pipeline rigor, forecast accuracy, deal architecture, pricing, and negotiation; sales methodology-trained is a plus
· Comfort selling AI-native, technology-led propositions to senior buyers
· Executive presence - you hold the room with CMOs and senior marketing leadership
· Excellent written and verbal business English fluency essential
· Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business management, commerce or related field

· Held a Head of Sales, Head of BD, Commercial Director, Country Sales Lead, –type role
· Sold into regulated verticals (BFSI, telco, healthcare) and conglomerate buying centers
· Built or scaled a commercial function at a venture-stage company
· Direct experience structuring partnership or revenue-share deals
· Integrated an AI-driven tech stack to power end-to-end commercial operations and processes

What you'll own
· The PH commercial number across all three offerings - pipeline, forecast, closed-won, expansion
· A highly-specialized, high-performing commercial team - hiring, coaching, and quota management
· Personal closing responsibility on the most strategic enterprise and multi-offering deals
· The named-account strategy - target list, segmentation, coverage, account planning
· The commercial playbook - pricing, proposals, qualification, methodology, CRM discipline
· Cross-functional alignment with our media, engineering, and platform teams
· Partnerships and ecosystem - agency networks, platform partners, industry presence
· Forecasting and commercial reporting to the CEO
Your first 90 days
· Day 30 — Diagnosis: Onboarded across all three offerings, the existing pipeline, and active engagements. Audited CRM, forecasting, pricing, and proposal architecture. Met every active enterprise client and named partner. Submitted a written commercial diagnostic to the CEO with the three highest-priority interventions.
· Day 60 — Architecture: Locked the PH commercial strategy — segmentation, named-account list, coverage model, and quarterly targets. Stood up weekly pipeline and forecast cadence. Initiated senior conversations across the top 20 enterprise targets. Opened the first commercial hire.
· Day 90 — Execution: Running the commercial function on a steady weekly rhythm. Carrying personal pipeline against named accounts. Closed or substantially advanced at least one strategic engagement under personal ownership. First hire onboarded or in late-stage offer. Delivered the first commercial review to the CEO covering pipeline health, forecast, win-rate, and team plan.
