Head of Branch Compliance

Role Overview:

Leads the branch compliance function with a proactive, strategic approach. Ensures adherence to regulatory and internal policies while aligning compliance initiatives with the bank's business objectives and risk appetite.

Key Strategic Responsibilities:

1. Policy & Framework Design: Develop and refine compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures to anticipate regulatory changes and emerging risks.
2. Risk-Based Strategy: Implement a risk-based compliance strategy that balances regulatory requirements with business growth opportunities.
3. Data-Driven Insights: Leverage compliance data and reports to identify trends, potential risks, and areas for process improvement.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with business, operations, and risk teams to embed compliance considerations into strategic decisions.
5. Regulatory Foresight: Monitor regulatory developments and industry best practices to inform long-term compliance planning.
6. Training & Culture: Lead initiatives to promote a culture of ethical behavior and regulatory awareness across the branch network.
