Schedule: Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM - 12:00 AM Manila Time
This is a senior leadership role responsible for defining and executing the organization's Artificial Intelligence strategy, architecting enterprise-scale AI systems, and driving innovation across AI-driven healthcare and life sciences platforms.
The role owns AI vision, agentic architecture design, generative AI implementation, Responsible AI governance, and delivery excellence across intelligent systems built on modern AI frameworks including LLMs, LangChain, LangGraph, RAG pipelines, vector databases, and knowledge graphs.
What does a typical day look like
- Define and execute the enterprise AI roadmap aligned with company vision and business objectives
- Architect and oversee scalable AI platforms including agentic AI systems, multi-agent orchestration, and A2A (agent-to-agent) architectures
- Design and operationalize LLM/SLM-based systems, RAG pipelines, vector database integrations, and knowledge graph frameworks
- Lead development of conversational AI, generative AI applications, and intelligent automation workflows
- Establish Responsible AI governance frameworks including fairness, explainability, security, and compliance for regulated healthcare environments
- Drive AI platform reliability, scalability, monitoring, evaluation, and LLMOps/MLOps best practices
- Collaborate with product, data, engineering, and domain teams to translate healthcare and life sciences use cases into production-grade AI systems
- Build, mentor, and grow a high-performing AI research and engineering organization
- Ensure AI systems meet compliance standards relevant to healthcare, life sciences, and pharmaceutical domains
- Serve as an internal AI thought leader and strategic advisor to executive leadership
What qualities are we seeking
- 12+ years of professional experience in AI/ML engineering with progressive leadership responsibility
- Proven experience leading enterprise AI strategy, architecture, and large-scale AI platform delivery
- Deep expertise in Generative AI, LLM/SLM systems, agentic AI architectures, and multi-agent workflows
- Strong hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, or equivalent orchestration frameworks
- Experience designing and deploying RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines and semantic retrieval systems
- Strong knowledge of vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma, FAISS, etc.) and knowledge graph systems
- Proficiency in Python and modern AI frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face
- Experience with conversational AI, NLP systems, and domain-specific AI applications
- Strong understanding of cloud-native AI deployment (AWS/GCP/Azure), CI/CD, containers, and distributed systems
- Experience delivering AI solutions in healthcare, life sciences, or pharmaceutical domains
- Strong understanding of AI governance, model monitoring, bias mitigation, and regulatory compliance
