- As part of their job, the Head Nurse observes the requirements, statements, and contents laid down in the quality management requirements of RainTree Care
- Collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary team members.
- Provides physical and psychological support to residents and families.
- Supervising assigned Caregivers and Nurses.
- Ensures the provision of complete and accurate medical treatment.
- Accompany and support people-residents in the final stages of their life.
Responsibilities
- Plans, organizes, and supervises the clinical team in order to promote quality resident care.
- Assist/contribute to the Clinical Care Manager/ Immediate Superior in the preparation of the monthly staff plan according to the shift management.
- Coordinates all clinical care activities to other departments to make sure to provide personnel, equipment, and facilities to be in optimal condition.
- Observes and evaluates nursing activities and the performance of personnel to determine whether they are meeting the desired standards.
- Formulates and recommends policies for improvement of resident care, participates in planning of personnel policies, and interprets the needs and interests of the clinical personnel.
- Performs training for newly hired clinical staff, evaluates, and recommends performance to the Clinical Management for onboarding.
- Conducts regular training sessions for the clinical staff for standard compliance
- With technical knowledge and experience for the usage of computers and technological platforms
- Perform other related functions required by the Director of Nursing or his/her immediate supervisor.
- Complete advanced, comprehensive, and focused care assessments.
- Manage and implement resident care across the lifespan.
- Manage complex chronic illness.
- Critically evaluate the best evidence for care available.
- Consult and collaborate with physicians, clinical team and other professionals.
- Accomplish a structured Nursing Care Plan
- Identify resident's care requirements.
- Establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological and spiritual support to residents and families.
- Assure quality of care by adhering to care standards.
- Resolve residents problems and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies.
- Study current professional literature for further education in improving nursings skills and sharing gained knowledge to the Clinical Team
- Evaluation of the care measures to be implemented.
- Implementation of the daily structure of the residents
- Recognition and prevention of care risk factors
- Adherence to proper Medication administration
- In the absence of the Clinical Care Manager, the Head Nurse on duty will take over responsibility for the smooth running of the daily routine of RainTree Care
- Prepare nursing care documents, including (but not limited to):
- Nursing care plan
- Admission report
- Participation in internal and external further education to improve all nursing
- Performs clinical bedside care for nursing skills standards evaluation on a periodical basis.
