Job Summary:

Investment Analysis Department is responsible for conducting investment research, due diligence, and credit and equity assessments of existing and prospective investments, issuers, counterparties, and brokers. It performs ongoing reviews of approved investment outlets to identify potential risks and deterioration in financial strength or creditworthiness. The department provides research-driven insights that support investment strategies, portfolio management decisions, and advisory services for portfolio managers, trust clients, and partner units.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Evaluation and Analysis of Issuers and Investment Outlets

• Evaluates existing and prospective fixed income, equity, and alternative investments through financial analysis and due diligence, prepares investment recommendations and reports, and provides research-based insights to support Trust Committee approvals and informed investment decision-making.

• Risk Monitoring of Investments, Counterparties and Brokers

• Conducts ongoing risk assessment and monitoring of issuers, investments, counterparties, and brokers through annual reviews, internal credit and equity ratings, and portfolio surveillance to identify emerging risks, maintain investment quality standards, and support proactive risk mitigation and trade execution decisions.

• Investment Advisory for Strategy Formulation

• Provides investment research and market intelligence on equities and fixed income markets, delivering actionable insights that support portfolio construction, rebalancing, and investment strategy formulation, while monitoring industry developments and emerging trends to enhance investment recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, Mathematics, or a related field; a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA), Finance, Economics, or Investment Management is an advantage.
• Minimum of 5 to 7 years of progressive experience in investment analysis, equity research, fixed income analysis, asset management, trust banking or treasury background.
• Preferably with 2 to 3 years of leadership or people management experience in managing investment/ research analysts or equivalent investment professionals.
• Demonstrated track record in: proven experience in leading credit, financial, and valuation analyses of fixed income and equity investments, managing investment risk assessment frameworks, and developing investment strategies and market opportunities to support portfolio management decisions.
• Professional certifications are preferred but not required: Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Trust Operations and Investments Certification, Treasury Certification Program, Fixed Income Market Certification and other investment, trust banking or treasury-related certifications
