QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Education: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related technical field.
  • Work Experience: At least 3 years in experience in Hardware R&D environment or related field.
  • Mechanical & Fabrication Skills: Practical experience in basic sheet metal fabrication, shop tools (drill press, milling machine etc), 3D printing operations, and manual machining tools.
  • PCBA & Cable Assembly/Rework: Proven experience in manual soldering, component rework, cable harness assembly, and chassis wiring for electromechanical systems (IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001 knowledge is a plus).
  • Test Equipment: Practical proficiency using oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, load testers, and diagnostic software.
  • Analytical Troubleshooting: Strong ability to read 2D mechanical drawings, 3D CAD models, electrical schematics, block diagrams, and wiring harnesses to trace signals, interpret test data, and isolate physical or electrical failures.
  • Laboratory & Inventory Management: Proven experience managing engineering lab operations, including maintaining tool and equipment readiness, tracking calibration schedules, managing ESD safety compliance, and overseeing stock levels for consumables (3D filaments, soldering supplies, hardware fasteners, wire stock) to ensure zero downtime.
  • Communication & Documentation: Clear written and verbal technical communication skills for drafting failure reports, logging equipment maintenance, and syncing with remote and on-site engineers.
