As a
GSE Mechanic, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and repairing our fleet of ground service equipment. Be part of a dedicated team that ensures aircraft ground operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently—on time, every time.
What You’ll Do
- Ensure that 1Aviation’s Mission, Vision, and Values are achieved.
- Promote and ensure compliance with Quality, Safety, Security, and Customer Service standards in accordance with regulations and company policies.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in motorized vehicles and GSE.
- Perform repairs, overhauls, and modifications of vehicle parts and equipment components.
- Test, adjust, and maintain systems according to manufacturer specifications.
- Carry out preventive maintenance to ensure all GSE remains operational and reliable.
- Efficiently execute assigned tasks to maximize manpower, materials, and equipment use.
- Sign off completed work on regulatory and company documentation and related forms.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Dispatch and receive motorized GSE, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition.
- Assist in the operation of GPU, ACU, and ASU during aircraft servicing.
- Conduct regular weekly inspections of GSE units.
- Support the GSE Supervisor with tasks and field coordination as required.
- Secure and update driving permits and ensure tool availability for job execution.
- Undertake other tasks as may be assigned by the GSE Supervisor.
An ideal candidate for this role should possess the following qualifications:
Educational Background & Licensure
- At least 2nd-year college level
- With relevant Automotive experience
- TESDA NC II Certification is an advantage
- Must have a valid Driver’s License (1, 2, 3) — Restriction 4 & 8 is a strong advantage
