Job Purpose
The Continuous Improvement Manager is part of a team responsible for creating and implementing a world-class CI program in the K+N Global Services center. This role is an opportunity to work with 3,000+ talented and motivated colleagues on improving the offshored processes for K+N.
Main Responsibilities
- Design and implement a world-class CI academy with structured training and certification in the KN Global Services
- Create and maintain a tool-kit of relevant CI/Lean/Six Sigma tool tailored to the KN Global Services organization
- Drive the local deployment of the CI training academy and become a local CI champion
- Build a culture of continuous improvement and create a CI mindset in all business units
- Support teams in the practical application, help identify opportunities, and apply lean/Six Sigma tools
- Measure and quantify the improvements, and show-case the value of local CI initiatives Empower operational leaders to become Lean champions through coaching and consulting
- Collaboration with CI counterparts across the KN Global Services organization (Costa Rica, Cebu, Belgrade, and Thessaloniki)
- Stay up-to-date with developments in CI practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field (required)
- 2+ years Leadership Experience
- Lean/Six Sigma black-belt
- Experience building and rolling out CI programs
- Proven record of driving quantifiable improvements with Lean/Six Sigma
- Global Business Services / Shared Service Center experience
- Freight forwarding experience
- Excellent communication- and presentation skills
- Proven ability to work in cross-functional and multinational teams
- Analytical, fast-learner, action oriented, problem-solver
- Proven, multi-year record of driving CI programmes
- Confident in ability to lead change
- Self-motivating and self-driving
