The Opportunity
We're hiring a Growth Project Manager to own the execution rhythm for a fast-growing B2B benefits technology company serving U.S. enterprise clients — you'll sit between the GTM and engineering teams, keep the Linear board an accurate reflection of reality, chase blockers in real time, and report status up to the VP of Growth, with room to grow into owning the execution rhythm across more of the org and driving improvements in cycle time and throughput as the team scales.
What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like
- Board Ownership: Live in Linear day to day — keep every issue accurately stated with the correct owner, status, project, due date, and next action, with no zombie issues or stalled In Progress tasks
- Standups: Run Monday / Wednesday / Friday standups (async or live) across the GTM and engineering teams to surface blockers and confirm what's moving, including a 5-minute readout on progress against that week's committed Linear tasks
- Cross-Team Coordination: Sit between the GTM and engineering sides to keep both building in the right direction and chase blockers in real time — if someone is waiting on an input, flag it the same day, not at the next standup
- Accountability: Chase stakeholders directly for updates and completion, keeping everyone in line and on the hook, and escalate only severe or repeat underperformance to the managers
- Project Maintenance & Triage: Maintain the GTM and engineering projects (Inbound, Outbound, Channels & Referrals, and Web / Systems / Scale), triaging new requests into properly scoped Linear issues with clear acceptance criteria
- Status Reporting: Report status up to the VP of Growth — what shipped, what's at risk, what's stuck and why
- Task Translation: Translate messy inputs (Slack threads, meeting notes, voice memos) into clean, assigned, deadlined Linear issues
- Handoffs & Hygiene: Enforce handoffs across the production chain (idea — copy — creative — landing pages) so work doesn't drop between owners, and kill or merge stale issues so the board always reflects reality
What You Bring
- PM Methodology Fluency: You've run sprints, kanban, or an equivalent execution rhythm for a fast-moving team — a technical / operational project manager fluent in Scrum, Agile, or Waterfall
- Relentless Follow-Through: Comfortable politely but firmly pushing senior people for updates
- Tooling: Fluent in Linear, or fluent in Jira / Asana with the ability to ramp on Linear fast (Linear strongly preferred)
- Bias for Clarity: Translates ambiguity into clear, owned, dated tasks without being told how
- Startup Pace: High energy and highly organized — a fast-moving environment doesn't rattle you, and shifting priorities are the job, not a complaint
- Communication & Availability: Excellent written and verbal communicator — able to nudge effectively and quickly understand nuance — and able to work US Eastern business hours (ET overlap)
Bonus Points if:
- You have a B2B SaaS or GTM / marketing-ops background
- You're familiar with the GTM stack: Salesforce, Notion, Apollo, Instantly, Webflow
