The Company
A privately held hospitality management and operating company with a portfolio of 23 hotels across France and the United States, primarily positioned in the upper-midscale and upscale segments (3- and 4-star equivalent).
The company is currently entering a new phase of growth, with multiple development projects underway, including new builds, repositioning, and brand transitions.
The Hospitality Division is supported by a centralized commercial and marketing organization of approximately 30 professionals located mostly in the Philippines, operating within a structured yet entrepreneurial environment focused on performance, alignment and scalable growth.
As part of this trajectory, the company is seeking to appoint a Group Director of Sales & Marketing.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Head of the Hospitality Division and serving as a key member of the executive leadership team, you will lead one of the division's three core departments and play a central role in shaping the commercial direction of the organization.
You will be responsible for designing, structuring and executing the group's sales and marketing strategy across a multi-property, multi-segment environment, ensuring alignment between commercial initiatives, market positioning and portfolio performance objectives.
Pricing authority sits within the Revenue Management function; however, the role plays a critical strategic contribution by providing market intelligence, segmentation strategy, demand insights and commercial priorities to support pricing decisions and revenue optimization.
The position carries direct accountability for commercial performance across the portfolio, including revenue growth, market share development, and segment mix optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the group-wide commercial strategy across Corporate, Group, Leisure, FIT, Consortia and Contracted B2B segments.
- Drive revenue growth and commercial performance across the hotel portfolio.
- Develop and manage national and strategic key accounts and partnerships.
- Provide market intelligence, demand trends, and channel strategy to Revenue Management teams.
- Lead brand visibility, marketing strategy, and positioning consistency across all properties.
- Ensure alignment of commercial initiatives across multiple brands and market segments.
- Lead, structure and develop a centralized sales and marketing organization of approximately 30 team members across multiple locations.
- Partner closely with General Managers to support property-level performance and commercial execution.
- Contribute to development projects, new openings, brand conversions and repositioning initiatives, including go-to-market strategy and launch execution.
- Establish performance metrics, KPIs, and reporting frameworks to drive accountability and results.
Candidate Profile
- Proven senior leadership experience in hospitality sales and marketing, ideally within a multi-property environment, management company or ownership platform.
- Strong expertise across Corporate, Group, Leisure, and B2B distribution segments.
- Solid understanding of Revenue Management, distribution strategy and demand drivers, with a collaborative cross-functional approach.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, influence senior stakeholders, and operate at executive leadership level.
- Results-oriented mindset with strong analytical and strategic capabilities.
- Experience supporting openings, repositioning or portfolio growth initiatives is highly valued.
- Fluency in English required; French proficiency is a strong advantage.
