Group Accounting Supervisor - Bound to Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CA or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Minimum 5–7 years of accounting experience, preferably in general accounting
• At least 2–3 years in a supervisory or senior accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting.
• Experience in group consolidation and multi-entity accounting is an advantage.
• Proficient in accounting software (Quickbooks preferred) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Good leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the accounting team.
• Prepare financial reports and ensure accuracy in reporting.
• Monitor and manage monthly closings and financial reconciliations.
• Provide training and support to junior staff to enhance their skills.
• Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and regulations.
