Job Title: Group Accounting Manager/Finance Controller
Job Location: Makati City
Salary Range: Php 150,000 - 160,000
Job Summary:
The Group Accounting Manager oversees all accounting functions, ensuring accuracy in
financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and the integrity of financial data. This
role is critical in managing the general ledger, coordinating audits, developing internal
controls, and leading the accounting team. The ideal candidate has a strong accounting
background, leadership experience, and a strategic mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closeprocesses.
- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP or IFRS.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and financial reviews.
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate the performance of the accounting team.
- Collaborate with finance and other departments on budgeting and forecasting.
- Implement and improve accounting systems, processes, and policies.
- Provide financial analysis and reports to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's degree or CPA/ACCA/CMA strongly preferred).
- Minimum 7–10 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Deep knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, NetSuite).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
