Job Summary
Ensures the achievement of daily production plans for Grinding Section; abides by code of discipline and standard operating procedures; able to follow work instructions and collaborate with other operators in order to approve productivity and product quality.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Ensures that daily production plan is met for Grinding Section
- Ensures the quality of products being worked on
- Learns skills that will improve productivity (angle grinder, orbital, belt sander etc.)
- Ensures that proper tools and equipment is used in performing work-related tasks
- Immediately reports to leadman, any abnormality or irregularity regarding items produced, tools, equipment, and processes
- Observes production procedures related to safety and health at work.
- Able to suggest improvements in work productivity and product quality
- Able to perform basic preventative maintenance of equipment and tools
- Ensures 7s is maintained
- Performs other related tasks from time to time
Qualification/Skills Requirements
- At least high school graduate or relevant vocational course
- At least 1 year working experience in a related field
- Preferably 1-4 years experience in manufacturing/production operations or equivalent
- Must possess reasonable analytical skill.
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Team player
Mondays to Saturdays, 7am - 4pm with possibility of paid overtime
