Role Description The Graphic Designer Prepress role is a full-time, on-site position based in Sto. Tomas Batangas. This role prepares and optimizes label and packaging artwork for print, ensuring files meet all technical, color, and layout requirements before production. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing client-supplied files, adjusting designs to fit printing specifications, performing preflight checks, and creating print-ready layouts. The Graphic Designer Prepress collaborates with designers, account managers, and print operators to resolve artwork issues, verify proofs, and maintain consistency across different jobs and materials. The role also involves managing version control, organizing digital assets, and following established workflows to meet deadlines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Print Production and Printing, with an understanding of print processes, color management, and press requirements.
• Candidates should possess skills in Print Design and Pre-press, including layout preparation, file optimization, and creation of accurate, press-ready artwork.
• Candidates should possess skills in Preflight, with the ability to check and correct files for fonts, images, colors, bleed, and other technical specifications.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design and prepress software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign; PDF preflight tools) is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to follow technical guidelines, and commitment to consistent quality are beneficial.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced production environment are beneficial.
• Relevant education or training in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field, and prior experience in label or packaging production, are beneficial.
