Graphic Artist

Role Description The Graphic Artist is a full-time, on-site role based in Cebu at SMX Convention Center's Seaside Cebu. The role involves designing visual materials for events, including digital and print collaterals, banners, signage, presentations, and social media assets. The Graphic Artist will interpret creative briefs, develop design concepts, and refine layouts based on feedback from internal stakeholders and clients. Daily tasks include image editing, preparing files for production, ensuring brand consistency, and coordinating with the events and marketing teams to meet project timelines. The role also includes maintaining an organized library of design assets and staying updated on design trends relevant to events and venue marketing.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Graphics and Graphic Arts, with the ability to translate concepts into appealing visual outputs.
• Proficiency in Graphic Design and Logo Design for branding, event identities, and promotional materials.
• Hands-on experience with Image Editing using industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign or equivalent).
• Relevant experience in designing materials for events, marketing, or hospitality environments is an advantage.
• Certificate, diploma, or degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Multimedia, or a related field preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, layout, color, and typography, with the ability to work within brand guidelines.
• Ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and respond constructively to feedback.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate professionally with cross-functional teams on-site.
