Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Install GPS tracking devices, sensors, and related accessories in company and client vehicles or equipment.
  • Perform wiring, cable routing, and electrical connections in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company standards.
  • Configure, activate, and test GPS devices to ensure accurate tracking and proper functionality.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, wiring, power supply, and connectivity issues.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance, repairs, and replacement of defective GPS units and accessories.
  • Verify installation quality and perform system testing before turnover to the client.
  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and installation procedures.
  • Maintain accurate installation, service, and maintenance records.
  • Coordinate with customers and internal departments regarding installation schedules and technical concerns.
  • Ensure proper handling and safekeeping of tools, equipment, and company assets.
  • Follow company policies, safety procedures, and electrical installation standards.
  • Provide basic user orientation to clients regarding the operation of GPS tracking systems, when required.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of Electronics Technology, Electrical Technology, Automotive Technology, Industrial Technology, or any related vocational or technical course.
  • TESDA National Certificate (NC II) in a related technical field is an advantage.
  • Preferably with at least 12 years of experience in GPS installation, automotive electrical systems, car accessories installation, or related technical work.
  • Fresh graduates with relevant technical training are welcome to apply.
  • Knowledgeable in automotive electrical systems, wiring, and electronic devices.
  • Able to read and interpret wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Familiar with the use of electrical testing tools such as multimeters and testers.
  • Possesses good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Physically fit and willing to travel to customer or project sites.
  • With a valid driver's license is an advantage.
