Install GPS tracking devices, sensors, and related accessories in company and client vehicles or equipment.
Perform wiring, cable routing, and electrical connections in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company standards.
Configure, activate, and test GPS devices to ensure accurate tracking and proper functionality.
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, wiring, power supply, and connectivity issues.
Conduct preventive maintenance, repairs, and replacement of defective GPS units and accessories.
Verify installation quality and perform system testing before turnover to the client.
Read and interpret wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and installation procedures.
Maintain accurate installation, service, and maintenance records.
Coordinate with customers and internal departments regarding installation schedules and technical concerns.
Ensure proper handling and safekeeping of tools, equipment, and company assets.
Follow company policies, safety procedures, and electrical installation standards.
Provide basic user orientation to clients regarding the operation of GPS tracking systems, when required.
Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Graduate of Electronics Technology, Electrical Technology, Automotive Technology, Industrial Technology, or any related vocational or technical course.
TESDA National Certificate (NC II) in a related technical field is an advantage.
Preferably with at least 12 years of experience in GPS installation, automotive electrical systems, car accessories installation, or related technical work.
Fresh graduates with relevant technical training are welcome to apply.
Knowledgeable in automotive electrical systems, wiring, and electronic devices.
Able to read and interpret wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.
Familiar with the use of electrical testing tools such as multimeters and testers.
Possesses good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Physically fit and willing to travel to customer or project sites.
