Owns/processes all PEZA-related processes, BIR, and works with our Cebu tax officer as needed for incentives, and compliance with DOH and DOLE.
Specifically, the role is expected to perform the following functions,
- Processing of PEZA application and permits
- Processing of Business License/Permit annual renewal
- Processing shipments and maintaining asset management records for audit compliance
- Display knowledge of laws and regulations, including related tax laws and regulations
- Implement PEZA compliance processes and documentary requirements, including deadlines
- Perform and comply with PEZA reportorial requirements (PEZA monthly and annual reports, TIMTA, supplementary schedules)
- Work with NCR country tax officer to Implement tax laws and regulations applicable to PEZA companies
- Work hand-in-hand with other department (Facilities, Payroll, IT, HR and Operations) for validation, streamlining and compliance
- Processing Travel and Expense (T&E) reimbursements and works closely with local finance
- Serves as Petty Cash Custodian
Requirements
- 2+ years of knowledge and experience with regulatory reporting and compliance, specific to the following government agencies:
- Philippine Economic Zone Authority
- Bureau of Internal Revenue
- Security and Exchange Commission
- Customs, SSS, HDMF, PhilHealth (working with NCR payroll officer)
- BS Customs Administration or BS Commerce graduate. Relevant experience may suffice.
- Logistics/shipment and PEZA experience is an advantage
