Government Contract Research Specialist

ABOUT THE ROLE

F5 Global Talent is hiring a Government Contract Research Specialist to support a U.S. medical equipment company with public-sector procurement research.

You'll research federal, state, county, city, hospital, and other government purchasing opportunities; review RFPs, RFQs, and IFBs; investigate vendor-registration requirements; and turn complex procurement information into clear summaries, trackers, and step-by-step guides.

This is primarily a research, analysis, and documentation role — not proposal writing or contract administration.

Government contracting experience is helpful but not required. Strong research skills, written English, organization, and the ability to verify information carefully matter most.

This is a full-time, remote role for candidates based in the Philippines.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Research U.S. federal, state, county, city, hospital, and other public-sector procurement opportunities

• Monitor government bid portals and procurement platforms

• Review RFPs, RFQs, IFBs, and other solicitation documents

• Summarize eligibility, requirements, deadlines, documents, and next steps

• Research vendor-registration and supplier-onboarding requirements

• Prepare clear step-by-step registration guides

• Build and maintain procurement trackers and comparison reports

• Maintain organized research records with verified source links

• Identify gaps, risks, or unclear requirements and flag them proactively

• Use AI tools such as ChatGPT to speed up research and document review

• Verify important findings against official government websites and original procurement documents

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Prior experience in a research-intensive role

• Strong online research and information-gathering skills

• Ability to read and understand complex documents and policies

• Strong written English and professional documentation skills

• Ability to summarize large amounts of information clearly and accurately

• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills

• Microsoft Word or Google Docs proficiency

• Familiarity with AI research tools such as ChatGPT

• Ability to verify AI-generated information against authoritative sources

• Excellent attention to detail

• Strong analytical and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple research assignments

• Based in the Philippines

NICE TO HAVE

• U.S. government contracting or public-procurement research experience

• Familiarity with SAM.gov or state/local eProcurement portals

• RFP, RFQ, or IFB research experience

• Vendor-registration or supplier-onboarding experience

• Proposal or bid-coordination experience

• Healthcare or medical-equipment procurement exposure

• Market research or competitive-intelligence experience

• Experience researching requirements for U.S.-based companies
