Google BigQuery Data Engineer based in

Your Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, and support scalable data pipelines and data models on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Build and maintain ETL processes to support enterprise data integration and analytics needs.
- Work extensively with GCP services such as BigQuery, Cloud Composer, and related data engineering tools.
- Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and other stakeholders to translate data requirements into technical solutions.
- Support and enhance existing data warehouse systems and associated data pipelines.
- Ensure data quality, security, governance, and compliance across all data solutions.
- Optimize data processing workflows and storage efficiency while troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues.
- Continuously learn and adopt modern data engineering tools and practices (e.g., DBT, Monte Carlo, etc.).
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to iterative development and delivery.
- Work effectively in a globally distributed team environment while maintaining strong communication and collaboration.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong experience in data engineering, data pipelines, and cloud-based data warehouse solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), especially BigQuery and Cloud Composer.
- Strong expertise in ETL/ELT development and data integration processes.
- Solid understanding of data warehouse architecture, optimization techniques, and performance tuning.
- Experience ensuring data quality, security, and compliance in enterprise environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and delivery accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in Agile environments and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated team player with the ability to work in globally distributed teams.
- Preferred experience with modern data tools such as DBT and Monte Carlo.
- Preferred familiarity with data observability, data governance, and data quality frameworks.
