About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer specializing in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
technologies. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in building scalable data pipelines, data models, and ETL processes. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions while ensuring data quality, performance, and reliability across data platforms.
Your Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support data pipelines and data models on GCP
- Work extensively with GCP services such as BigQuery and Cloud Composer
- Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and stakeholders to gather and deliver data requirements
- Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes
- Support and enhance existing data warehouses and pipelines
- Ensure data quality, security, and compliance standards are met
- Optimize data processing and storage efficiency; troubleshoot data-related issues
- Continuously learn and adopt new tools in the data ecosystem (e.g., DBT, Monte Carlo)
- Demonstrate strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Apply analytical thinking with an Agile mindset
- Maintain strong attention to detail and accuracy in delivery
- Work effectively in a globally distributed team environment
- Show initiative, accountability, and problem-solving capabilities
What We're Looking For
- Must have at least 3 years of hands-on experience with Google BigQuery and Airflow/Composer
- Must have at least 3 years of experience in Google Cloud Platform
- Proven experience in GCP-based data engineering solutions
