Job Description
We are a DTC company selling wellness supplements, hair tools, home products, and power tools in the US. We are hiring a media buyer to run Google and Facebook ads for our brands.
You will start with our smaller products. As you show results, you will take on bigger products with bigger budgets, and your pay grows with them.
Role SummaryYou will manage Google Ads and Facebook (Meta) ads for the brands under Orca Brands: SRI Labs, SRI Wellness, SRI Home, and Cyber Power Tools.
Day to day, you will build and structure campaigns, launch ads at high volume, run tests, adjust bids and budgets, work with the creative team on new ads, create ad copies that convert, and keep trackers up to date.
The goal for this role is growth. We are not looking for someone to keep the accounts steady. We want someone who can cut wasted spend and increase total sales at the same time.
Why this role is different
- Generous bonus and salary increases. You earn incentives quarterly if you hit your targets and we also increase your salary twice a year depending on performance.
- We invest in you. Courses, mentorship, and hands-on training from top creative and marketing talent. You'll leave every quarter sharper than you started.
- Products you'll actually care about. A wide and growing portfolio means you get to work on brands and products you're excited about, with new product launches regularly.
- You're building the foundation. Our mission is to build iconic brands consumers love and trust. A great media buyer helps those products reach the world.
What you'll do:
Campaign strategy and ownership
- Own end-to-end strategy and execution for assigned products across both Google Ads and Meta, aligned to ROAS and net profit targets
- Allocate budget between platforms, campaign types, and products based on incremental performance, not last-click convenience
- Take complete ownership of assigned products, scaling from smaller SKUs toward max-spend products as performance is proven
- Manage campaign budgets to protect ROI, and flag pacing or efficiency risks before they become problems
Google Ads
- Set up, launch, and manage Search, Performance Max, Demand Gen, Shopping, Display, and YouTube campaigns
- Structure and scale non-branded (cold, top-of-funnel) campaigns
- Conduct in-depth keyword research and maintain negative keyword strategies to cut waste
- Write and test headlines and descriptions; manage ad extensions, assets, and asset groups
Facebook Ads
- Set up, launch, and manage campaigns on Meta
- Manage and evaluate campaign structure: CBO and ABO, testing versus scaling separation, audience and placement strategy
- Upload ads at high daily volume across accounts, correctly named, structured, and tracked
- Manage catalog and dynamic product ads, plus partnership/whitelisted ads setup
Creative and reporting
- Run structured tests on ads, campaign types, objectives, audiences, and placements
- Write ads that convert, and be able to explain why a winning ad won
- Work with the creative and ecom teams on assets, offers, and launches
- Keep the spend sheet and your trackers accurate and up to date
- Watch CTR, CPC, CPA, conversion rate, ROAS, and MER daily, and act on what you see
- Tell the Dev team when tracking looks broken, and follow it through until it is fixed
What success looks like
Success in this role is simple: grow profitably for our products/brands. Keep our accounts efficient while spending more. You launch ads consistently, keep your numbers clean and up to date, and bring ideas.
Who you are
- At least 2 years hands-on experience managing both Google Ads and Facebook/Meta Ads, with results you can show us
- Experience running paid media for DTC ecommerce where you were accountable for revenue
- You know Google Ads campaign types, bidding strategies, extensions, and targeting well
- You understand Meta campaign structure, bidding, audiences, and the learning phase
- You can write ad copy that converts
- You are comfortable reading data and making decisions from it
- You are comfortable in spreadsheets, formulas, and trackers
- You know the basics of landing page optimization
- You are hungry. You want to grow, and you move without being pushed.
- You can manage yourself. You can run an account on your own and bring ideas to improve it, instead of waiting for instructions.
- You show your thinking. We need to be able to trust how you reach a decision, which means explaining your reasoning and telling us when something is not working before we find out ourselves.
- You work well on your own and with a team
- Strong English, written and spoken
- Knowledgeable on multi-touch attribution tools (Northbeam, Triple Whale, or similar)
- Familiarity with landing page optimization principles and tools
