About the Role
We're hiring a Campaign Manager to manage and optimize Google Ads campaigns for home service businesses (roofing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.).
This role is ideal for someone who is both strategic and hands-on – you know how to drive lead volume and CPL improvements, but you're also disciplined with QA, pacing, and documentation. We run high standards and move quickly.
What You'll Do
Campaign Management & Optimization
- Manage and optimize Google Ads accounts for home service lead generation (Search + Performance Max).
- Conduct audits and ongoing optimizations across keywords, search terms, negatives, ads/assets, targeting, and bidding.
- Own budget pacing and ensure spend aligns with monthly targets.
- Run structured tests and share learnings to improve performance.
Performance Monitoring
- Monitor account performance daily and proactively flag risks.
- Investigate and escalate major shifts (e.g., CPL spikes, lead drops, tracking issues).
- Make thoughtful changes — no large bid/budget swings without approval (15% rule).
Ad Copy & QA
- Write and maintain strong RSA copy aligned with client tone, offers, and landing pages.
- Ensure zero spelling/grammar errors, consistent capitalization, correct URLs, and policy compliance.
- Maintain clean account hygiene and documentation.
Communication & Collaboration
- Keep internal updates clear, proactive, and solution-focused.
- Document key changes and communicate anomalies quickly.
- Participate in weekly internal meetings and contribute insights or wins.
Continuous Improvement
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and best practices to maintain cutting-edge strategies.
- Identify opportunities to test and implement new approaches that drive improved results.

- Stable and improving performance across CPL, conversion rate, lead volume, and budget efficiency.
- Consistent optimization cadence and clear documentation.
- High-quality execution with strong attention to detail.
- Proactive communication — issues are flagged before clients notice them.
Requirements
- 3+ years hands-on Google Ads experience (lead gen).
- Strong experience with home services is a big plus.
- Confident managing budgets, search terms, negatives, bidding strategies, and RSAs.
- Excellent/native written English. Note, this role is not client facing.
- Detail-oriented, process-driven, and comfortable working to SOPs.
