Role Overview
- Job Title: Global Training Manager
- Location: Hybrid (Must be based in the Philippines)

- Industry Background:Training background in IT, Technology, or Manufacturing is highly preferred, but open to all industries provided you have proven global training experience.
- Travel Requirement: International travel to SK tes Supported Countries before, during and after REST rollout activities.
- Deployment Cycle: Typical on-site deployments last 4–6 weeks per cycle.
About the role
The Training Manager owns the training strategy for the rollout and sustainment of the company's new REST platform. During implementation, this role serves as the primary training owner and subject matter expert for system usage, process adoption, training content, and learner readiness across the organization. After rollout, the role expands to support future transformation initiatives, system enhancements, process changes, and ongoing global operations capability development.
The successful candidate must be an exceptional communicator who can translate complex functionality and operational processes into clear, role-specific training. This person will become the organization's leading REST training resource and train personnel at all levels, from operators and site teams to supervisors, managers, regional leaders, and designated global trainers.
About the role Key Responsibilities
REST Training Strategy & Rollout Readiness
- Develop and execute the REST training approach aligned to deployment waves, go-live readiness criteria, business processes, and regional rollout plans.
- Partner with business readiness, IT, operations, and functional SMEs to understand REST functionality, process impacts, role-based training needs, and site-specific adoption risks.
- Support deployment planning by defining training dependencies, resources, learner groups, schedules, completion requirements, and readiness checkpoints.
- Travel to deployment locations before go-live to assess readiness, prepare local teams, deliver training, and support successful adoption.
- Remain on-site during rollout to support delivery, user readiness, issue resolution, reinforcement, and transition into hypercare.
Training Content Development
- Create, maintain, and improve manuals, user guides, job aids, quick references, standard work instructions, videos, scenario exercises, and supporting materials.
- Translate REST workflows and operational processes into clear, structured, audience-appropriate content for varied roles and experience levels.
- Develop practical scenarios reflecting real operations, exceptions, system decision points, and common user challenges.
- Keep materials accurate, version-controlled, easy to follow, and aligned with approved processes, system functionality, and global documentation standards.
REST Subject Matter Expertise
- Develop deep REST knowledge, including core workflows, role-based transactions, reporting outputs, configuration impacts, integrations, and operational dependencies.
- Serve as the primary REST training expert for system usage, process execution, training expectations, and adoption questions.
- Participate in testing, UAT, walkthroughs, and deployment activities so training reflects actual system behavior and approved ways of working.
- Identify and escalate gaps between system functionality, process design, and user understanding that may affect adoption or go-live readiness.
Training Delivery & Train-the-Trainer Enablement
- Deliver REST training to operators, administrative users, supervisors, managers, regional leaders, support teams, and other stakeholders.
- Design and lead train-the-trainer sessions for designated local/regional trainers, ensuring they can confidently and consistently deliver approved content.
- Establish trainer expectations, facilitation guidance, checklists, competency criteria, and feedback mechanisms for consistent delivery.
- Coach local trainers during rollout, answer questions, reinforce standards, and help close knowledge gaps.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through attendance, knowledge checks, feedback, observed performance, readiness assessments, and follow-up.
Post-Rollout Support & Continuous Improvement
- Provide post-go-live support during hypercare and stabilization, including refreshers, targeted retraining, troubleshooting, and reinforcement of correct usage.
- Maintain and update REST training documentation as functionality, processes, enhancements, or business requirements change.
- Support future transformation initiatives using the same structured approach to training design, documentation, delivery, adoption, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor recurring training issues, user errors, adoption gaps, and feedback trends, then recommend improvements to content, delivery, process design, or support models.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience designing and delivering training for WMS, operational systems, business applications, or large-scale process transformation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to explain complex system functionality and business processes to varied audiences.
- Ability to create professional manuals, process documents, job aids, videos, presentations, knowledge checks, and scenario-based materials.
- Experience delivering classroom, virtual, hands-on, and train-the-trainer sessions.
- Ability to quickly build deep expertise in new systems, workflows, and business processes.
- Strong facilitation, coaching, stakeholder engagement, and presentation skills.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with ability to manage multiple training workstreams across regions, functions, and timelines.
- Comfortable in fast-paced rollout environments with changing priorities, issue resolution needs, and go-live deadlines.
- Willing and able to travel globally and regionally for pre-rollout readiness, go-live, and post-rollout stabilization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting operational system deployments across multiple countries, business units, or sites.
- Background in operations, supply chain, logistics, ITAD, manufacturing, warehouse management, or similar process-driven environments.
- Experience with change management, business readiness, UAT, go-live support, hypercare, or continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with learning management systems, digital adoption tools, screen recording, video creation, and document control practices.
- Experience building role-based curricula and competency assessments.
