About The Role

We are looking for a Business Support Analyst to join the Global Spend Management (GSM) team supporting global procurement operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring procurement processes run efficiently by supporting purchase requisitions, purchase orders, supplier management activities, and procurement compliance across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Procurement Operations Support
  • Support the purchase requisition (PR) and purchase order (PO) lifecycle, including creation, updates, and closures.
  • Assist with procurement system transactions and approvals in SAP, Oracle, and Ariba.
  • Monitor and resolve issues related to invoice holds, abandoned POs, and supplier requests.
  • Process suppliers change requests and maintain procurement records across systems.
  • System & Transactional Support
  • Support procurement processes through various tools including SAP, Ariba, Oracle, and other internal applications.
  • Assist with ticket resolution and system requests related to procurement operations.
  • Maintain accurate data across procurement systems to ensure operational efficiency.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Generate and maintain reports using Excel and reporting tools to support procurement operations.
  • Analyze procurement and spend data to identify trends, compliance issues, and operational improvements.
  • Support leadership and procurement teams with dashboards and performance reporting.
  • Stakeholder & Supplier Support
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including procurement teams, finance, and requisitioners.
  • Respond to procurement inquiries and support supplier-related issues.
  • Provide operational support for global procurement initiatives.
  • Compliance & Process Improvement
  • Ensure procurement activities follow company policies and compliance requirements.
  • Support audit documentation and reporting.
  • Identify opportunities to improve procurement workflows and operational processes.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Preferred fields: Engineering, Commerce, Accounting, Management Accounting, Business Administration, or other related disciplines.

Experience

  • 3+ years of professional experience in procurement operations, shared services, finance operations, or related roles preferred.
  • Experience supporting global stakeholders or global operations is a plus.
  • Procurement or sourcing experience is advantageous but not required.

  • Advanced Excel and reporting skills
  • Understanding of the PR/PO procurement lifecycle
  • Strong attention to detail and process orientation
  • Ability to learn and navigate multiple systems and tools
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Background in shared services environments
