Responsibilities
Regional/Local Partner Expansion and Management
- Based on customer needs and local market development, take charge of expanding key partnerships, conducting negotiations, and sustaining long-term cooperative relationships, to build abundant, stable and low-cost local payment capabilities.
- Partner scope includes but is not limited to local payment institutions, banks, acquirers, digital wallets, card schemes and other players within the payment ecosystem.
- Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams to drive the smooth internal launch of partnership projects and deliver available services to end customers.
- Establish a standardized partner management framework to deliver mutually beneficial and long-term sustainable cooperation.
Localization of Key Markets
- Propose or finalize localization strategies for priority countries and regions in alignment with corporate strategy and business development roadmap.
- Cooperate with multiple functional teams to progress local entity setup, license application & maintenance, and build channel infrastructure required for local business operations.
- Align with business, compliance, product, technical and operation teams to guarantee all localization plans are regulatory compliant and commercially viable.
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of working experience in finance or channel management related fields deep familiarity with cross-border payment industry and APAC regional regulatory landscape. Candidates with extensive diversified channel resources are preferred.
- Proven experience leading large global teams well-versed in regional cultural differences, outstanding cross-cultural communication competency, and strong capability in internal resource alignment and cross-department collaboration.
- Solid track record of senior-level stakeholder communication and high-level commercial negotiation with client executives.
- Excellent verbal and written proficiency in both Chinese and English.
