Summary

The Power Platform Center of Excellence Manager/Lead provides end-to-end leadership of Vertiv's low-code automation platform and practices across the Support Hubs, uniting platform operations, solution standards, delivery enablement, and business consulting.

The Power Platform Center of Excellence Manager/Lead provides end-to-end leadership of Vertiv's low-code automation platform and practices across the Support Hubs, uniting platform operations, solution standards, delivery enablement, and business consulting. The role owns environment strategy, Data Loss Prevention (DLP) governance, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) / Continuous IntegrationContinuous Delivery (CI/CD), on-premises data gateways, and security in partnership with Information Technology (IT); sets and enforces development standards; and leads a small development and support team to deliver reliable, reusable automation, analytics, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions. The CoE Manager/Lead partners with hub and functional leaders to identify and prioritize high-value use cases, align on data readiness and Vertiv Operating System (VOS) principles, and choose the right build path (template reuse, light customization, or enterprise product route). A key mandate is capability buildingrunning the Intelligent Automation (IA) Guild and online communities, showcasing reuse patterns, and accelerating adoption so teams can build once, deploy many. Success is measured by faster time-to-value, increased replication of proven solutions across hubs, strong compliance and stability, and a sustained culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

The Power Platform Center of Excellence Manager/Lead owns the platform for Vertiv's Support Hubsoperating environments, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), on-premises data gateways, and SDLC/CI/CD pipelines with ITwhile setting/enforcing build standards and leading a small delivery team to ship reliable, reusable automation, analytics, and AI solutions. The role drives build once, deploy many via replication kits and certified Power BI datasets, and develops citizen developers through a structured learning path, office hours, and online communities to upskill makers. Partnering with HR, Finance, Facilities, Talent Acquisition, and PMO, the Manager/Lead triages demand, recommends reuse vs. light build vs. enterprise product routes, and embeds checkpoints across Lift-&-Shift, Lift-Shift-Improve, and Transformation pathways tied to process improvement initiatives. Success is defined by faster time-to-start and time-to-production, higher cross-hub reuse, stable and compliant operations, and growing adoption of standards and citizen development.

Responsibilities

  • Power Platform solution designs (Automate/Apps/BI) produced and approved; AI PoCs (copilots, chatbots, ML models) run under governance with clear success criteria; data readiness assessed and remediated; pilot-to-production conversion rate ; quantified benefits and reusable patterns extracted.
  • Programs on cadence; participants complete and apply learning; communities active; safe-development practices understood and followed.
  • Faster intakeproduction cycle times; consistent gate adherence; clear documentation/handover; stable post-go-live; visible reuse of patterns/templates.

Qualifications

  • Preferred: ITIL 4; Lean Six Sigma GB/BB; PMP/PRINCE2; Azure admin/DevOps familiarity, Microsoft PL-500 and PL-200
  • 7-10 years
  • 710+ years in low-code/automation/analytics; 3+ years Power Platform admin/architecture (Automate/Apps/BI, Dataflows, Gateways, DLP, SDLC/CI-CD).
  • Hands-on Power BI (models, DAX, RLS) and Power Automate (cloud/Desktop); strong SQL and Python
  • Experience leading small development and support teams; stakeholder management with IT/Security/PMO.
  • Track record running citizen-developer programs; Lean/CI/Process Improvement mindset.
