As the Global HR Operations Manager, you will lead the design and delivery of a unified HR operations strategy across multiple regions, including APAC, EMEA, and the Americas. Reporting to the VP of People & Culture (APAC), you will oversee a team of People & Culture Specialists and drive high-quality, compliant, and efficient HR service delivery through a modern operating model and best-in-class systems.
This role combines strategic thinking with operational execution. You will lead global HRIS implementation, standardize and scale HR processes, and foster excellence in employee lifecycle support—all while driving data-informed decisions and aligning with local regulations and business growth goals.
What You'll Do:
Global HR Operations Strategy & Process Design- Define and implement a scalable, globally aligned HR Operations model that reflects local needs.
- Standardize HR lifecycle processes (onboarding, performance, comp & benefits, offboarding) across all regions.
- Develop and maintain global SOPs and ensure alignment with company policies and values.
HRIS and Digital Tools Implementation- Lead the implementation and ongoing optimization of global HR systems (e.g., Workday, SuccessFactors).
- Ensure HR tech stack supports automation, reporting, compliance, and analytics across all jurisdictions.
- Oversee data integrity, dashboarding, and usage of AI/automation tools in line with ethical standards.
Team Leadership and Capability Development- Directly manage People & Culture Specialists, including those based in Manila and other regions.
- Mentor, coach, and support capability growth within the HR Ops team to enable internal mobility and retention.
- Set KPIs and SLA standards, review team performance, and promote a continuous improvement culture.
Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement- Own delivery of key HR Specialist responsibilities (payroll data accuracy, onboarding execution, HRIS maintenance, document control) at a strategic oversight level.
- Identify process inefficiencies, drive global standardization, and apply AI-enabled tools to optimize workflows.
- Enhance employee experience through simplified, consistent, and timely HR service.
Compliance and Risk Management- Ensure adherence to regional labor laws, data protection regulations, and internal governance frameworks.
- Maintain readiness for internal and external audits and drive policy harmonization across jurisdictions.
- Serve as final escalation point for operational issues, risk mitigation, and governance concerns.
Strategic Partnership and Stakeholder Management- Collaborate with regional HRBPs, Finance, IT, and Legal to embed business-aligned HR processes.
- Translate strategic business goals into actionable operational plans.
- Support M&A onboarding and integration from an HR systems and operations perspective.
What You'll Bring:
- 8+ years in HR operations, with 3+ years in a global or regional leadership capacity.
- Demonstrated experience implementing and scaling HRIS across diverse regions.
- Background in HR shared services or RPO environments.
- Strong understanding of labor compliance, DE&I principles, and data governance.
- Experience leading distributed global teams and managing performance remotely.
- High proficiency in project management, system integration, and stakeholder engagement.
