Ophardt Hygiene is seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join the organization as the COO.
Your tasks:
- Lead and oversee all global operational functions, including manufacturing, supply chain, quality control, and logistics.
- Develop and execute strategies to enhance operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and scalability.
- Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes and reduce lead times.
- Shape the company's future while maintaining a strong commitment to quality, innovation, and sustainability.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to drive global expansion initiatives, including market entry strategies, partnerships, and acquisitions.
- Assess and identify growth opportunities in new and existing markets to increase market share and revenue.
- Ensure strict adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements, especially in healthcare and hygiene sectors.
- Enhance supply chain resilience and responsiveness, managing sourcing, procurement, and vendor relationships.
- Drive innovation in product development and manufacturing processes to maintain a competitive edge.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to guide product development efforts.
- Spearhead sustainability efforts, promoting environmentally responsible practices throughout the company's operations.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to a global team of operations professionals.
- Collaborate with the CFO to manage budgets, optimize costs, and achieve financial targets.
- Reporting directly to the CEO
Your profile:
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven track record of successful leadership in global operations within the manufacturing or healthcare industry, e.g. current position as plant manager.
- High willingness to travel internationally and flexibility within a global business environment
- Sharing and living the values of a family business.
- Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken
- Strong understanding of hygiene and infection prevention products and markets is highly desirable.
- Experience with the legal, regulatory and business requirements of our industry sector.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results in a matrixed organization.
- Strategic thinker with a focus on innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence.
- Strong financial understanding of cost structures and key business figures
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
