Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Solution Design
- Design and develop end-to-end GIS solutions for large-scale programs.
- Build secure, scalable Appian and ArcGIS Enterprise integration frameworks in cloud environments.
- Prepare technical design documents, solution blueprints, and integration patterns.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, and regulatory standards.
Appian Integration & Enterprise Workflows
- Develop Appian Connected Systems, REST APIs, and geoprocessing services.
- Develop Appian Connected Systems, REST APIs, and geoprocessing services.nd environmental cases.
- Implement secure authentication flows between ERP and GIS systems.
- Design and implement SSO integrations using OAuth2, SAML, or equivalent identity providers.
GIS Development & Frontend Engineering
- Build map-based UIs using ArcGIS JS API, React, and Experience Builder.
- Configure and optimize feature services, cached map layers, and web applications.
- Implement spatial data validation, schema mapping, and automation pipelines.
- Develop reusable GIS components aligned with UX/UI best practices.
Data Migration & ETL
- Lead spatial data migration using FME, ArcPy, and custom ETL frameworks.
- Build staging pipelines and data quality validation frameworks.
- Execute complex spatial data migrations ensuring data integrity and compliance.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Collaborate with business owners, ERP teams, architects, developers, and domain experts.
- Lead technical discussions, provide code reviews, and guide delivery practices.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years in IT with at least 5 years as a GIS Technical Lead.
- Strong experience integrating Appian with ArcGIS Enterprise.
- Proficiency in ArcGIS Server, Portal, Datastore, Web Adaptors & ArcGIS Monitor.
- Experience installing and managing ArcGIS Enterprise in cloud environments.
- Hands-on experience with ArcGIS JS API (4.x), Experience Builder, and Web AppBuilder.
- Strong Python/ArcPy automation and FME ETL experience.
- Knowledge of GIS + ERP workflows (e.g., asset management, land management systems).
- Familiarity with secure cloud environments and compliance standards.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and documentation skills.
- Lead technical discussions, provide code reviews, and guide delivery best practices.
