Your Day-to-Day
- Develop and maintain GIS-based web applications using technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and relevant libraries (e.g., Leaflet, OpenLayers, ArcGIS API for JavaScript).
- Integrate GIS data with enterprise systems and databases to support spatial analysis and visualization.
- Design and implement geospatial workflows, including data processing, transformation, and automation.
- Work with satellite imagery, shapefiles, and other geospatial formats to support mapping and analysis.
- Develop custom tools and dashboards for spatial data exploration and reporting.
- Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver GIS solutions.
- Optimize application performance and ensure cross-platform compatibility.
- Maintain documentation for GIS applications, APIs, and data models.
- Support integration with platforms such as Google Earth for 3D visualization and geospatial overlays, when applicable.
- Ensure data accuracy, projection consistency, and metadata standards across GIS datasets.
What We're Looking For
- Proficiency in JavaScript and web development frameworks for GIS applications.
- Experience with GIS platforms such as ArcGIS, QGIS, Google Earth, or Mapbox.
- Strong understanding of geospatial data formats (e.g., GeoJSON, KML, shapefiles).
- Familiarity with spatial databases (e.g., PostGIS, Oracle Spatial).
- Experience with REST APIs and web services for data integration.
- Knowledge of coordinate systems, projections, and spatial analysis techniques.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geomatics, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience with Google Earth Engine or Google Maps API.
- Familiarity with Python or R for geospatial data processing.
- Exposure to remote sensing, GPS data, and mobile GIS applications.

Location: Ortigas, Pasig City (Onsite)
Shift: Dayshift, Monday-Friday
