What will you do

This position would support our projects primarily in Queensland and play a critical role in delivering initiatives across our markets nationally. You will be joining an existing Geospatial team, supported by local staff and further supported by our wider, National Geospatial cohort as we continue to expand our Geospatial team in Brisbane.

As Geospatial Consultant, the scope of work and role will be as follows:

  • Prepare thematic maps and other geospatial outputs

  • Develop, maintain, and update GIS databases and spatial datasets

  • Assist in designing and implementing geospatial solutions including tools, dashboards using ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise.

  • Assist in data preparation and generation of ESdat tables.

  • Support the automation of geospatial workflows and data transformation processes.

  • Contribute to the development, testing, and scaling of spatial solutions for project needs.

  • Collaborate with geospatial teams across Australia and New Zealand on project delivery.

What can you bring to the team

Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imagining engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. You will also need the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Spatial Science, Geography, Geospatial Engineering or similar field

  • 3+ years experience working with Geographic Information Systems preferably in consultancy

  • Capability in spatial data analysis and digital map creation using mapping platforms

  • Skills in automation tools such as Model Builder, FME, and Python would be seen as an advantage

  • Proficiency in ESRI's ArcGIS tools including ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise
