Role Overview:
As a Geospatial Analyst, you will be responsible for reviewing, editing, and analyzing geospatial datasets to ensure data accuracy and quality. You will work with mapping platforms and 3D data to support project requirements and deliver actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review, edit, and manipulate geospatial datasets to ensure data quality and accuracy
- Interpret 3D point cloud data and provide recommendations
- Utilize mapping platforms (e.g., Google Earth) to visualize and edit spatial data
- Conduct QA checks and prepare data reports for specific projects
- Monitor project data performance and ensure consistency and reliability
- Provide weekly reports and updates on progress and findings
- Support projects related to electric transmission and distribution infrastructure
Requirements:
- Knowledge of electric transmission and distribution infrastructure
- Proven experience working with geospatial datasets
- Strong ability to review, edit, and analyze spatial data
- Experience interpreting 3D point cloud data
- Familiarity with mapping platforms such as Google Earth
- High level of organizational and reporting skills
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup
