Job Description

The ESRI Consultant is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting geospatial solutions using the ESRI ArcGIS platform for enterprise customers. The role focuses on enabling location intelligence, spatial analytics, and map-driven insights that support business decision-making across operations, planning, and analytics.

This role works closely with business, data, and information technology (IT) teams to ensure ESRI solutions are scalable, secure, sustainable, and well-integrated within the enterprise technology landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver Geographic Information System (GIS) solutions using ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Pro.
  • Develop and configure web maps, dashboards, and geospatial applications.
  • Implement spatial analysis and geodata management solutions.
  • Integrate ESRI with enterprise systems using application programming interface (API)s and services.
  • Support data visualisation, reporting, and decision-support use cases.
  • Provide deployment, configuration, testing, and post-go-live support.
  • Standardise spatial data models, governance and publishing workflows to improve interoperability and trust in location data across the client ecosystem.
  • Deliver reusable GIS patterns, templates and reference implementations (e.g., common map layers, dashboards, data pipelines) to accelerate delivery and scale adoption across programs.

Skills, Experience and Competencies

Technical Skills

  • Strong expertise in ESRI ArcGIS (Enterprise, Online, Pro).
  • Experience with spatial data, geodatabases, and GIS analysis.
  • Familiarity with GIS integrations, REST APIs, and web services.
  • Understanding of cloud-based GIS and spatial data visualisation.

Experience (Role Level Determination)

  • 6–10 years of professional GIS experience.
  • 4–7 years hands-on experience with ESRI ArcGIS platforms.
  • Experience delivering enterprise or large-scale GIS implementations.
  • Consulting or system integrator experience preferred.

Competencies

  • Consulting mindset and strong stakeholder management.
  • Ability to translate business needs into GIS solution designs.
  • Analytical problem-solving across spatial data, maps, and integrations.
  • Delivery discipline across configuration, testing, deployment, and support.

Qualifications and Certifications

  • ESRI Technical Certification (e.g., ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Enterprise) (preferred).
  • Cloud or data platform certifications (Azure / AWS) (desirable).

What Success Looks Like

  • GIS solutions deliver reliable spatial insights and business value.
  • Location data is accurate, accessible, and trusted.
  • ESRI platforms are well-integrated with enterprise systems.
  • Solutions are scalable, easy to operate, and widely adopted.
  • Stakeholders view GIS as a strategic capability, not a niche tool.

Additional Requirements & Eligibility

  • Right to work in the Philippines: must hold (and maintain) the appropriate visa/work authorisation for the role and assignment length.
  • Hold a current passport suitable for business travel (including the ability to obtain visas as required) and be willing to travel where needed.
  • Satisfy KPMG background screening and any client-specific screening requirements (which may include identity, criminal history, qualification, professional membership and other checks).
  • Provide required onboarding documentation as requested by People & Inclusion.
