We are looking for a Senior Geodetic Engineer.
JOB SUMMARY
The role conducts field surveys and prepares plans and technical descriptions for verification, subdivision or consolidation of company properties and/or private lands for exchange, lease or purchase by the company, and provide technical opinion and suggestions on documents of existing properties as well as on those for acquisition. Other responsibilities include:
- Conducts geodetic and topographic surveys with the assistance of survey party (personnel from other section and hired survey aides) to locate land monuments and verify boundaries or property lines, and ascertain areas, shape and other technical data of land to be purchased or leased by the Company
- Verifies the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites
- Consults and examines lot plans, deeds and other related private and public records to gather information for reference during field work, to verify accuracy of land titles, and to finish furnish superiors with necessary data for reference during lease or purchase negotiations
- Prepares or supervises preparations of all data, charts, plots, maps, records, and documents related to surveys
- Files with appropriate government offices lot plans, technical descriptions and other supporting papers for registration and approval; pays corresponding fees and follows-up processing for early approval of submitted plans
- Plans and determines shape of lot polygon for lease or purchase in accordance with area requirements and arrangement of major equipment and structures as laid-out by Civil, Mechanical and other design organizations
- Conducts technical due diligence on properties
- Assists in the development and updating of policies related to realty services management
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be a Licensed Geodetic Engineer
- With at least 5 to 8 years of relevant work experience
- Can liaise with internal stakeholders, and external parties such as government agencies
- Has working knowledge of AutoCad and MS Office softwares and applications
- Adept and familiar with current land survey softwares and applications
- With prior experience in managing a team
- Willing to work onsite (Ortigas, Pasig City)
